BIMAL stable in first half of 2019

Brčko, July 31, 2019 – Brčko Edible oil factory BIMAL d.d. has successfully overcame business challenges and complexity of the export markets from 2018, primarily of the market in Turkey, and it has continued with profitable operations. Business revenues of BIMAL d.d. company in first half of the current year amount to almost BAM 90 million, and business revenues of BIMAL Group in first half of current year are exceeding BAM 150 million. Profit of BIMAL amounts to around BAM 1,350,000, with tendency of growth in second half of the current year.

“Solid foundation of our operations is our development vision in business with edible oil and the real strength of our long-term goals, which are the essential pillars of the BIMAL Group. The sole domestic edible oil factory therefore takes one of the leading positions among the companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina” said Nataša Pucar, Director of Corporate Communications of the STUDEN Holding, within which the BIMAL operates in Brcko.

Brčko’s BIMAL is an example of successful takeover of an old factory, where from the completely devastated production, the production was established of edible oil, protein meal, lecithin and fatty acids on a global level, managing to meet the needs of domestic and great number of export markets.
